| Description: | Our client - an application development company in New York City is looking for a senior interface designer to join their team ASAP The successful candidate will be expected to have excellent analytical skills and be able to develop user interface designs, create prototypes, as well as designing and conduct usability evaluations. Experience with user-centered design methodology is a must. Responsibilities include working within a team of business analysts, project managers and developers to define our applications UI. Translating user and business requirements into detailed user interface designs is crucial. Candidate will build low fidelity and high fidelity prototypes. The person will discuss and present prototypes to the business stakeholders and the technology teams; carryout usability testing or other types of end-user studies. Write detailed user interface design specifications and assist in the development of user interface design standards Required skills 1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in designing user interfaces for web and windows applications. 2 Excellent prototyping skills and user interface design skills. 3 Excellent understanding and experience in implementing user-centered design methods and practices. 4 Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills 5 Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field is a plus. 6 Excellent Knowledge of DHTML, XHTML, XML, and XSLT. 7 Experience with workforce management, timekeeping, or CRM systems a plus. |

| Description: | Our client in New York City, an application development company involved in developing a highly visible workforce management tool based on J2EE platform needs a trainer. This is an onsite position. The individual will be responsible for quickly learning a complex ERP application and delivering instructor-led training. Individual must take the lead in designing and developing training materials. The individual will work with the customer to understand the requirements for the training and then will work independently to develop training materials, both hands -on and lecture, which can best support the customer. The individual will conduct the training . Must have experience developing training materials and conducting training. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, instructional design, education, engineering, mathematics or other related fields Required Skills: Must have a Bachelor's degree and experience in the area of developing training materials and conducting training. Must be able to write well, communicate the ideas to the customer and interact in a customer environment. The individual selected will be working with a team of other trainers.
